ah it's r&g fic! this is great, i love guildenstern treating the permanent blur of the truth like a rosary (and rosencrantz means rosary, look at that), i love that it's blurriness makes it an article of faith because he believes that it's there, but he also believes it's beyond him to grasp. he can only catch facets, tumbling beads.
and that flicker that's the facet of genre awareness ... what i wouldn't give to see ros and guil as partnered detectives, theorizing murder and motive, but it's not up to solve a death. it's up to them to die. (and they're not any good at it!)
